Vehicle & Robotics Engineer

Take a sub-metre electric vehicle from prototype to a fleet that runs all day and all night.

London / On-site Full-time

About the role

Our vehicle has to be small enough for a cycle lane, tough enough to run around the clock, and built from the first sketch to become fully autonomous. You'll own the physical platform end to end, from drivetrain and sensors to the details that make it reliable in the real world.

What you'll do

  • Develop the vehicle platform: drivetrain, power, sensors, and integration.
  • Turn prototypes into a design that can be built, serviced, and scaled.
  • Work hands-on with suppliers to hit cost, quality, and timeline targets.
  • Instrument the vehicle so the software team can trust what it sees.

What we're looking for

  • Hands-on experience taking electromechanical products from prototype to production.
  • Fluency across the mechanical, electrical, and embedded boundaries.
  • Pragmatism about cost and manufacturability, without cutting corners on safety.

Nice to have

  • An EV, micromobility, robotics, or automotive background.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers and a real supply chain.
